MNC Weddings ("we", "us", "our") operates the website at mncweddings.com.au — a wedding directory and marketplace connecting couples and wedding vendors on the Mid North Coast of NSW, Australia.

We are committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

2. What Information We Collect

We collect personal information that you provide when you:

• Create an account (name, email address, password)
• Sign in with Google (name, email address, profile picture)
• Register as a vendor (business name, contact details, description, photos)
• Submit a bridal request (wedding details, preferred vendors, contact information)
• Register for an expo or event (name, email, business details)
• Opt in to an Expo vendor leads list (name, email address, phone number, and wedding planning status)
• Subscribe to a paid plan (billing details processed by Stripe)
• Contact us directly

We may also collect non-personal usage data such as page views, browser type, and device information through standard server logs.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your personal information to:

• Create and manage your account
• Provide and improve our platform services
• Connect couples with wedding vendors via the Bridal Exchange
• Process subscription payments through Stripe
• Send transactional emails related to your account or bookings
• Notify you of events, expo registrations, and platform updates
• Where you expressly consent, provide your Expo lead details to wedding vendors who receive the applicable leads list so they can contact you about their services
• Comply with legal obligations

Except for the Expo vendor leads program described below, which requires your express consent, we do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate the platform. Each has its own privacy policy:

• Google Firebase — authentication, database, and hosting (Firebase Privacy)
• Stripe — payment processing. We do not store your card details; they are handled entirely by Stripe (Stripe Privacy)
• Google Sign-In — optional authentication method (Google Privacy Policy)

5. Cookies and Local Storage

We use browser local storage and session storage to maintain your login session and remember your preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

6. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely on Google Firebase infrastructure. We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information from unauthorised access, loss, or disclosure. However, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.

7. Vendor Listings

Vendor profiles that are approved and listed on the platform are publicly visible. This includes your business name, description, location, categories, and any images or contact details you choose to display. Please only include information you are comfortable sharing publicly.

8. Bridal Exchange

When you submit a bridal request, it is visible to vendors with an active subscription. Your contact details are only shared with vendors you explicitly connect with. You can close or delete your request at any time from your account.

9. Expo Vendor Leads

At an MNC Weddings expo or related promotion, you may choose to join an Expo vendor leads list. This is separate from the Bridal Exchange. We only add you to this list when you actively select the consent checkbox on the lead form.

If you consent, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and wedding planning status. MNC Weddings may provide or sell the resulting contact list to wedding vendors who want to receive Expo leads. Those vendors may then contact you directly by email, telephone, or SMS to promote their wedding products or services.

You can withdraw your consent or ask us to remove you from future lead-list distributions at any time by emailing contact@mncweddings.com.au. If your information has already been provided to a vendor, you may also need to opt out directly with that vendor. Vendors are expected to honour applicable opt-out requests.

10. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Withdraw consent for optional data uses at any time

11. Children's Privacy

Our platform is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately.
