There are six local council areas within our NSW Mid North Coast, we have tried to give as much information as possible on each and the requirements they have if you plan on getting married in their area.

COFFS HARBOUR CITY COUNCIL

This council requires you to phone in relation to a wedding booking.  The phone number is 02 6648 4000 & they request that you have the location, date & time and the expended attendee number at the ready.  They note that wedding bookings have insurance included in their approval.  Upon receiving your request CHCC will contact you to confirm availability, provide you with a letter of approval, which includes the terms of use, and a risk assessment.

BELLINGEN SHIRE COUNCIL

NAMBUCCA SHIRE COUNCIL

We rang and spoke to the Nambucca Shire Council about what the process is if you wish to hold hold your ceremony in an outside space within their area.  They simply like for you to call and let them know the details.  How easy is that!?  The phone number is (02) 6568 2555.

KEMPSEY SHIRE COUNCIL

The price of applying to use Council managed land in this area is $119.00.  You will the application form here.

PORT MACQUARIE HASTINGS COUNCIL

Information about weddings on any Port Macquarie Hastings Council reserves can be found here.  You can go directly to their handy venue query system (a calendar of currently booked events) by following this link.

You will need to submit your form to PMHC with a payment of $100.00.

MID COAST COUNCIL

The Mid Coast Council also provides excellent information here.  They say they are happy for you to enjoy your special day in their beautiful outdoors.  To make an application to this Council you will need $100.00 – use the link to “Application for booking reserves and beaches for Wedding & Special Ceremonies.”
