THE HAPPY COUPLE

Leah & Trevor Knauer held their wedding at Trevors family property on South West Rocks Rd, Kinchela. They invited 70 of their nearest and dearest to witness their commitment and experience their day with them.

Leah generously shared with us all about their wedding planning process and wedding day.

THE PLANNING

We loved getting to work with so many amazing local vendors – they were all so generous with their knowledge/tips etc.

Planning out the food was definitely a highlight for me as I’m a big foodie 👌🏼

HURDLES

The weather was a big stressor – having a farm wedding in a third back to back La Niña season was intense. Everything was looking okay about a week out and we had done lots of work to get the paddock in a good state. The 80mm of rain we got the day before the wedding though threw a spanned in the works. We all ended up muddy (my dress and shoes were the worst)!

ADVICE FOR OTHER COUPLES

Don’t sweat the small stuff – it’s easy to say after the fact but at the end of the day, even if you have to trek through mud to get down that aisle, it will still be the most special and amazing day!
