It was a regular Sunday morning we planned to take the dogs for a walk on the beach. Josh was acting weird and not speaking. We arrived at the beach and took the dogs off the leads and he said to walk up in the dunes. I saw a picnic set up and I said “Josh that’s someone’s picnic we can’t go up there.” He responded with “it’s fine, come here”.
Once we got to the top and got down on one knee and our best friends we hiding in the bushes and surprised and filmed it all. It was such a shock but such a nice day.Â
FAVE PLANNING PART
All of it, I love planning things so I enjoyed the whole process.
Our first dance was to, Wonderful Tonight by Eric Clapton.
TRADITIONS WE KEPT
We wanted the ceremony to be the formality part of the day. It was still a very relaxed ceremony but it was the most important.
The reception was all about celebrating with everyone.
FAVOURITE PART..Â
Honestly, the whole day. Everything ran so perfectly and you couldn’t wipe the smile off our faces. We were just so happy and overwhelmed with everything.Â
ADVICE FOR OTHER COUPLES
Take your time, choose the vendors you feel most comfortable with. Don’t always choose the most expensive and enjoy it.Â
If you got married here on the Mid North Coast of NSW – it would be so wonderful if you could share some information for others to read! It’s also a massive thank you to your vendors – so new couples can find them!
