THE ENGAGEMENT
On the 23rd May in 2020 at North Brother Mountain. We went here on our first date so it holds a special memory for us.

HURDLES
Disappointingly same sex weddings are still not accepted by some vendors. Plus the obvious Covid! That made us postpone from getting married on September 11 2021, which meant a lot of personalised things that had to be redone and changed which meant spending more money.
SOUNDTRACK
Speechless by Dan + Shay. This was our walk down the aisle song. It was a song we always said we would use at our wedding (well before we even got engaged).

Our first look before the ceremony then having a bit of time to ourselves before leaving to go to the ceremony, where we also turned up together.
ADVICE FOR OTHER COUPLES
Don’t stress the small stuff, the wedding will go ahead regardless, even if you forgot to do something.
